Who's Candys?
Candys are a bunch of ordinary ladies doing and extraordinary thing for women empowerment and for charity.
Back in 2008 I wanted to start teaching again, after going to dance school and university. I had not long had my second child and had started a new job but I needed to dance again.
My friend and I set up a burlesque class in a tiny little hall and hardly anyone came to class. Once the film Burlesque with Christina Aguilara aired that was it my classes were full to the brim.
We have so far put on over 10 shows and raised over £20,00 for various charities.
The main aim of my classes are to empower women and make them feel sexy and confident.
We don't just do classes though, we also offer hen party packages and parties in general as well as first dance packages.
I recently choreographed and worked with a couple that appeared on S4C's priodas pum mil View Here
I have also helped people that have auditions coming up choreograph routines or fine tune what they already have.
